Tianyi Cui 28442337cf feat(python-example): select the persistent shell by platform
Make the checked-in minimal SDK overlay disable both one-shot shell rows and mount exactly one persistent PTY stack: Bash on Linux/macOS and PowerShell on Windows. The SDK server, explicit dsh home, persistence, editor, timeout, and reduced tool catalog remain unchanged.

Update the runnable example and tutorial to list Windows x64 as supported, describe the platform-selected shell, and remove the obsolete POSIX-only restriction. This keeps the documented first Python task executable through the packaged Windows dsh profile instead of advertising a Linux-only overlay on a Windows-capable SDK.

Tianyi Cui 8dc3b0380e feat(bundle): ship the standalone sdk-minimal profile
Add a startup-only sdk-minimal template whose sole bundle inserts the complete JSON-RPC agent tree over the empty profile root. The roster is an explicit composition allowlist: it contains one DeepSeek adapter, the minimal agent spine, persistent Bash, the string-replace editor, local execution, and JSONL persistence, while dsh-base and Web remain absent.

Reuse the SDK app startup provider so the new profile retains help, stdin EOF, and bounded launcher shutdown semantics. Make that provider render its configured profile name, which keeps both sdk and sdk-minimal help truthful without duplicating process lifecycle code.

Register the package in the CLI closure, TypeScript graph, lockfile, Knip policy, and bilingual bundle references. Exact manifest, row-roster, profile-template, config-dump, and HMR tests make later additions visible instead of relying on a blacklist.

Tianyi Cui fdac6cffcb test: refresh profile migration catalogs and built smokes
Regenerate the configuration catalog and module graph after replacing standalone application packages with dsh profile bundles and renaming the private Python carrier. Update built-bin coverage to launch the shipped sdk and acp profiles, assert retired bins stay absent, and keep the Web golden text aligned with the same assembled runtime.

Clarify that headless is a startup profile whose patches freeze after boot. This commit is projection and verification work: it contains no application implementation, and every generated document is produced from source committed earlier in the series.

Tianyi Cui 47a46e4cca feat(profiles): add the ACP application bundle
Introduce @deepseek-ai/dsh-acp-app as the thin application layer for the built-in acp profile. It contributes only the ACP protocol bridge and profile metadata; dsh-base remains the single owner of shared agent composition, providers, persistence, permissions, and tools.

Wire the bundle into CLI resolution, catalogs, workspace configuration, and built-bin coverage. The focused bundle and startup tests prove that base plus acp-app exposes automation sessions while keeping stdout reserved for ACP JSON-RPC.

Tianyi Cui a16822944b feat(profiles): add the SDK application bundle
Introduce @deepseek-ai/dsh-sdk-app as the thin application layer for the built-in sdk profile. The bundle contributes the JSON-RPC server and startup-only profile metadata, while dsh-base continues to own the shared agent, provider, persistence, and tool composition.

Publish ctx.appReady from the launcher only after the Loader tree and launcher-owned setup succeed. The stdio lifetime binding leaves stdin unread until the protocol transport claims it and defers EOF exit 0 until readiness commits, so early protocol frames remain buffered and a racing startup failure remains the nonzero process outcome. Fiber disposal cancels both pending lifecycle listeners.

Register the bundle in the CLI resolver closure, generated configuration catalog, workspace graph, and built-bin smoke. Startup tests prove that base plus sdk-app exposes the SDK server without taking ownership of shared runtime plugins; focused and built-bin regressions cover early input, EOF readiness, and startup-error precedence.

Yichen Jiang 6428b844ef fix(ci): catch the branch up with the static and smoke gates
- dsh-authorization's manifest becomes a release member on current
master's terms: version matches the root 0.1.0-rc.6 and
publishConfig.access is public, which the constraints gate and the
tarball pack's version verify both enforce after the master merge.
- Regenerate docs/module-graph (zh mirror included) for the
authorization package and the llm-pi-ai -> authorization edge; the
graph gate lives outside doc-sync and was never regenerated when the
  package was added.
- The built-bin smoke seeds the versioned credentials document; this
branch's provider refuses the pre-release flat layout by design, and
the master-side test still wrote the old shape.

Turtle 54dd75a969 refactor(cmdline): run the program's own commander action instead of a plan callback
parseCmdline(ctx, program): void only adapts commander control flow to
the launcher: it parses the immutable cmdlineArgs snapshot and turns
help, version, parse errors, and action rejections into a ctx.appExit
request. App validation and the ctx.provide of the app-owned service
live in the program's own synchronous .action(), which commander runs
inside parse — program.error(...) there shares the exit path with a
grammar rejection. Deletes the CmdlinePlan export, its unread ctx
parameter, the type-unsound (() => ({}) as T) default, and the
T | undefined return with its per-caller publish guard.

Turtle 37cbd155f5 refactor(cli)!: the launcher parses only its own flags
Launcher flags come first and end at the first token dsh does not
recognize; everything after reaches the booted app verbatim, so
dsh --profile tui --resume <id> works with no launcher change and
dsh --profile web --help prints the web app's help. A bare dsh -h, which
has no app to hand the flag to, still prints the launcher's own.

src/web.ts is deleted: the Web flag family, its LAN-trust sampling, and the
one-shot task positional now live in their bundles, and runProfile no
longer knows any row id. What the startup row decides comes back as a
launcher-owned patch layer above every layer a user can edit, so a live
config edit recomposes the tree without resetting a served port.

dsh web and dsh --profile web finally boot through one path, which also
gives --profile web the harness-source prompt section that only the alias
used to add.

Tianyi Cui 25dcd7293c docs: purge chain-of-thought leakage from prose
Delete design-session citations (decision/audit/plan ordinals, stack
positions), change narration, review choreography, and reviewer-addressed
justification from comments, JSDoc, docs, READMEs, Agent Notes, tests, and
generator templates; restate every affected fact as current-state contract
prose. Fix generated docs at their sources and regenerate the catalogs and
cordis-surface regions; re-paste type-equiv blocks; update every bilingual
counterpart and re-record the pairs. Record the citation rule in the
committed-artifact-citations Agent Note.

Tianyi Cui ac154b2dfa test(cli): cover Harness-home credential loading in built entry
Source-level environment and credential tests prove the individual loaders, but they do not prove that the published launcher runs them before Loader evaluates a shipped profile.

Start the built dsh binary with the shipped base bundle and a test-only LLM probe. Put the endpoint in $DSH_HOME/.env, put the bearer token only in $DSH_HOME/.credentials.yaml, remove inherited DeepSeek overrides, and assert the mock request received both without leaking the token. This covers launch order, profile composition, the adapter, and the credential seam without a real API.

Turtle 62d0f26fd6 refactor(cli)!: namespace the profile and bundle manifests under dsh.profile and dsh.bundle
A profile manifest and a bundle manifest are different kinds and shared one
flat `dsh` section: `dsh.plugins` listed bundles (not plugins) and `dsh.patch`
declared a bundle's layer. Each kind now names its role — a bundle declares
`dsh.bundle.patch`, a profile declares `dsh.profile.bundles` — so a
package.json states which role it plays and the list name matches its contents.

`DEFAULT_PROFILE_PLUGINS` becomes `DEFAULT_PROFILE_BUNDLES`, and
`DshManifestSection` splits into `DshBundleManifest`/`DshProfileManifest`.
Pre-release: no compatibility shim; turtle-ui moved with it (bd5ff10).

Turtle 52d7515936 fix(cli): plugin UX — anchor relative specs, reconcile by installed state, guide blocked git builds
- Relative path specs (., ../plugin, file:/link: forms) anchor to the
invoking directory before forwarding: pnpm's cwd is the profile dir, so a
bare 'add .' from a plugin checkout used to self-link the profile (exit 0,
nothing installed). Bare paths stay bare and prefixed specs keep their
  prefix, preserving pnpm's link-vs-copy semantics.
- dsh.plugins reconciles against the INSTALLED state on every successful
pnpm run, not the dependency diff: an update whose new version gains
dsh.patch activates the layer; a version that drops it (or a removal)
deactivates it. Template bundles are never touched.
- A failed pnpm run now names the profile directory, and a git-spec failure
explains pnpm >=10's prepare-script block with a pointer at the profile's
  pnpm-workspace.yaml allowBuilds (turtle-ui's prepare-based git install is
the reference consumer); reference README documents all three.

Turtle 65770325e7 feat(cli): restore the home-level user patch layer as $DSH_HOME/cordis.patch.yml
The old $DSH_HOME/config.yaml personal overlay returns under the profile
scheme's filename: machine-local preferences that apply to every profile,
loaded after the profile's own cordis.patch.yml (so the home layer outranks
it) and before --patch overlays and flag patches. Both user layers are
hot-reloaded on long-lived surfaces and shown in --dump-config with their
own provenance labels; the built-bin e2e covers the home layer landing live.

Turtle 925daf141b fix: address ds-review-bot round — insert-aliasing clones, settlement gates, closure module fallback
- Clone patch lists per generation (boot + composeLive): the include pushes
insert rows by reference and mutates them in place, so a reused object
baked user overrides into bundle rows and removal could not revert; the
built-bin hot-reload e2e now asserts an override AND its removal reverting.
- The headless runner awaits Loader settlement before prompting (its inject
gate covers only apiProxy/httpServer) and abandons cleanly when the tree
  died during the wait.
- healProfilesModuleFallback walks the app's full dependency+peer closure:
  out-of-tree plugins import seam packages (dsh-compact, dsh-subprocess, ...)
that only implementations reach, and peers are how seams are declared.
- Profile init writes pnpm-workspace.yaml (nodeLinker: hoisted), not .npmrc
  — pnpm >=10 reads settings from the workspace manifest.
- Web dumps reject boot-only flags instead of printing a tree that differs
  from the same invocation's boot; --port validates at the flag;
  --dump-default-config no longer parses the (possibly broken) user layer;
trustedHosts flag derivation merges over the composed value instead of
replacing it; web-runtime gains surfaceContext (headless disables the GUI
prompt/bash-vars the old -p never mounted); 'node_modules' is a reserved
profile name; plugin-warning names the recovery step; client AGENTS.md
registration surfaces point at the web-app bundle.
- Ship session-reference/tmux-context/tool-ask-user as app dependencies for
terminal front-door patch layers (turtle-ui), same stance as mcp-client.

Turtle cd6b4ee3c9 feat(cli)!: dsh boots profiles; plugin subcommand manages them via pnpm
dsh --profile <name> replaces the fixed entry modes: --config and -p are
removed, --patch adds overlays over the composed profile, a positional task
selects one-shot mode (requires the headless-runner row), and dsh web stays as
the alias for --profile web carrying the Web flag family as patches. dsh
plugin --profile <name> forwards verbatim to pnpm in the profile directory,
initializes on first use, and reconciles the dsh.plugins layer list after
add/remove (patch-less packages warn and stay plain dependencies). Config
dumps and the keyless web e2e scaffold compose the same bundle layers over the
same empty root as the boot.

Turtle ce0aa90c1e feat(cli): dsh --dump-config / --dump-default-config print the composed tree
dsh --dump-config and dsh web --dump-config compose the shipped base,
the surface overlay, and the --config or personal overlay — exactly the
layers that surface boots — and print the entry list as YAML without
booting; --dump-default-config stops at the surface overlay so the two
outputs diff to precisely the user layer's effect.

The dump shares the mounting code: the vendored include exports its
patch algorithm as applyEntryPatches() and its !!js dialect as
entryListSchema (logged in vendor/README.md), dsh-app-boot's
renderConfigDump() composes and renders through both (and now imports
the dialect instead of duplicating it), and the CLI adds a thin
dump-config mode. !!js expressions print verbatim; unmatched patches
warn on stderr; boot-only flags are rejected alongside the dump flags.

Tianyi Cui c4647a8609 test: adopt execa for hand-rolled subprocess plumbing, parseArgs for llm-mock-server CLI, vi.waitFor for poll loops
Implements the execa Agent Note's four sub-changes:
- execa (root devDep + loader-smoke dep) replaces the hand-rolled
  spawn-collect-timeout choreography in loader-smoke, apps/cli and
  cli-demo/acp-demo built-bin e2e, lsp-local and code-runtime-worker
built-lib e2e, the tui pty-harness outer collector, the jsonrpc
keyless smoke, and crash-recovery's child spawn. Genuinely custom
  parts stay custom: cli-demo's interrupt-on-marker, jsonrpc's
  line-predicate protocol driving, crash-recovery's SIGKILL-at-failpoint.
  The two loader-smoke /* v8 ignore */ OS-error branches are gone.
- llm-mock-server CLI tokenizes via node:util parseArgs; numeric
  coercion/bounds/cross-option constraints stay manual; pinned
error-message tests updated to the parseArgs texts.
- both loadRootEnv copies in apps/web/tests are deleted: the owning
vitest configs (web unconditionally, snapshot in record mode)
already load the repo-root .env before these files run.
- the four poll loops (acp-snapshot harness waits + crash-recovery
  waitForFile) ride vi.waitFor with explicit {interval, timeout}.

Turtle 007e8fd92f refactor(cli): bail early in the arg adapter instead of returning errors as data
Address review and cut ceremony: the adapter no longer models help/version/
errors as DshInvocation members. Commander owns those under exitOverride — it
prints usage or the diagnostic and one try/catch in parseDshArgs turns the
thrown CommanderError into process.exit with the intended code. bin.ts drops its
help/version/error cases; the union is the three real modes.

Domain checks bail via command.error(print + exit 1): --prompt rejects an empty
task or a stray config/--resume, empty --resume= fails loud, and --host/--port
are validated. A repeated --resume or a flag captured as a value is Commander's
standard behavior, left alone (a bad id fails loud downstream). dsh --help
discloses web via addHelpText. Net: args.ts 185 -> 112 lines.

Also fixes review nits: built-bin e2e resolves on `close`; the /resume handoff
uses `dsh --resume=<id> -- <config>` so a config named `web` stays a positional;
and stale prose (cordis.yml comment, app-boot module doc + duplicate JSDoc,
ui/README, two feature notes, an agent-loop test name) tracks the shipped state.
Removes tui-demo's now-dead plugin-include dep and vendor/loader + app-boot
tsconfig references.
