The `start` frame and the reconnect baseline attempt carried a wall-clock
`startedTime` that no Host or Client consumer read: the Host accumulator
and the Client reconciler copied it into their attempt maps and nothing
looked at it again. Presentation frames now carry only the coordinates
consumers use (attempt, revision, turn, step, chunk index, and v1 seq
provenance); the type-equivalence block, event graph, READMEs, and the
live-stream Agent Note follow the type.
The persistence seam is now create/open/stat/list returning per-session
SessionHandles (read/append/flush/close); every log read and write flows
through the owning handle. The seam package exports only the service and
handle contracts, consumer-visible errors, and pure durable-data
validation helpers; each backend owns its complete storage runtime, and
the shared contract suites pin equivalent observable behavior. The
backend routes published sessions' live events by id into the active
write handle; agent-loop only acquires, seeds, and closes the handle.
Resume appends interruptedTurnClosers through its write handle;
session-query owns the revision-keyed cold cache. Legacy-only surfaces
are removed in the same swap: locate/readRaw/supportsRawArtifacts, the
legacy event-shape read migration, zstd torn-frame salvage,
DSH_SESSION_JSONL, and hook transcript_path population; a torn final
zstd frame is discarded whole; the session-list cold blank probe returns
on stat metadata (eventCount derived from the last physical row,
sizeBytes). The WebUI ZIP export serializes the logical log from a read
handle, so both backends export identically.

Review round on #3316: the composition inventory answers from a standing
mount before the broken verdict (a file corrupted after mounting no longer
hides the running composition), livePresetMounts filters by the caller's
root fiber so a second Cordis runtime in one process never answers for it,
compositions carry trust and the plugin list resolves shipped preset names
through the shared dsh-agent-presets/display fold over ui-agent-preset's
dictionaries (INLINE_SAFE inline import; no cross-plugin runtime import),
the condition detail label reads Disabled when/禁用条件, and the stale
four-surfaces comment says three.
Reconciled with the scope-grouped plugin list: compositionInventory keeps
its additive block over master's RemoteError refactor; the slimmed
settings-store keeps ctx-based signatures while staying a display-only
roster store (no describeFace, no select); dead transport-rejection tests
dropped with the wire that no longer rejects; module graph, catalogs, and
harnesses regenerated against the merged tree.
The settings plugin list projected ctx.loader.entries() alone, hiding the
plugins sessions actually run and rendering the web overlay's deliberate
disabled tombstones (tool-bash, tool-fs, ...) as two dozen plainly disabled
rows while the same modules ran in every standard-preset session.
- dsh-agent-presets: compositionInventory() answers flattened rows per
preset — newest live standing generation when mounted, composition file
otherwise with !!js disabled gates evaluated against the Loader context;
reading never mounts (regression-tested), refusal stays 'conditional',
raced files report broken with the reason.
- dsh-host-plugin-inventory: list() gains an optional agentPresets block,
resolving the roster as an optional peer and mapping fiber states to the
public phase vocabulary.
- ui-settings-plugin-inventory: preset group first behind a display-only
switcher opening on the default preset; global group collapsed with
failures floated; host-disabled modules enabled by >=1 preset fold into a
session-plugins drawer naming providers; search spans scopes and points
at matches in unselected presets.
- ui-agent-preset: the General-settings default-preset row is deleted — the
roster section's make-default and the new-session chip keep the field —
and the settings store slims to the display roster the header label reads.

Agent Note ride along.
- gen-cordis-catalog / gen-cordis-inspect-catalog / gen-client-catalog /
gen-config-catalog / gen-doc-graphs / gen-module-graph outputs pick up
the converged Remote vocabulary (gateway/* codes, RemoteError JSDoc)
and the dsh-util-time package; the zh sides of the three
English-generated pages follow the same line-number shifts.
- the message-feedback protocol golden records the accepted wire
change: a boundary-validation failure now reports
gateway/input-invalid with structured details instead of a bare
internal code.
Render reconstructable system prompts at each request-series boundary, preserve series declarations through pre-step wrappers, and keep the presentation and replay snapshots aligned across clients.
#2201 landed three moves this branch sits on top of. `bindSettingsScope` became
`ctx.settingsScope.bind` on the Settings surface, so the section injects that
service and the Remote face instead of importing a free function; the
`SettingsScope` types moved into the runtime contract module, which is where
this branch's `base`, `user`, and `unset` now live; and the client
`credentials/changed` event became the forwarded owner event
`credentials/updated`, which the web-search card subscribes to through
`ctx.remote.$on`.
The generated module graph crossed mermaid's 1000-edge render guard with this
branch's 14 new edges. The guard doubles again, exactly as it did at 500 — the
graph counts real package edges, and trimming them to fit a renderer default
would make the document lie about the dependency set.
Three seams: the tsconfig path map gained a mapping on each side and keeps
both; the event-producer matrix is generated, so it was regenerated rather
than hand-merged row by row.
A continuable child that stopped without reporting — an error, a token
ceiling, cancellation, teardown — left its parent nothing to act on.
The continuation manager now delivers an unconditional settlement
notice to the durable direct parent before releasing ownership, folding
consumed work (foldConsumedWork supersedes findLastMessageTurnEnd) so a
claimed-but-unrun prompt reads as aborted rather than completed, waking
an idle parent, steering a busy one, and never waking a closing tree.
Resolves the vendored-package rescope (cordis -> @deepseek-ai/cordis,
schemastery -> @deepseek-ai/schemastery) against this branch's settings
namespaces: the bash capability namespace, its two executors' section
installs, and the new plugin-config client package all move to the scoped
specifiers.
Moving the agent plane behind presets left two readers on the wrong side of
the host/agent line.
`dsh-token-meter` was disabled on the host and mounted inside each preset's
`compaction` realm, but its three projection units register into the
process-wide `sessionProjections` table. A unit registered from one preset
answers for every session, so whether a `minimal` session showed a context
meter depended on whether some other session had mounted `standard` since
boot, and a process that only ever ran `minimal` showed none. The meter takes
no configuration, keys every fold by Session, and registers no tool or prompt
section, so it returns to the host composition and leaves the presets'
`isolate` map; the realm and `compact-basic` stay, because what a preset
chooses is whether its agent compacts, not whether its tokens are counted.
Nothing named an agent that joined no preset. The join is a scope-parent link,
and without it the tools, prompt-section, and skill views resolve the empty
global layer: the agent publishes, the turn runs, and the model receives
nothing. `AgentPresets` now logs one warning per such agent while a roster is
configured, and the invariant companion fails outright — at
`system-prompt/assemble` rather than at publication, because an unjoined agent
is legal until it addresses a model and `recompose` binds exactly such an
agent. The warning stays advisory: a synchronous `agent/created` throw vetoes
publication, and the ACP bridge, SDK server, and headless bundle all create an
unjoined agent today.
Three limits are recorded rather than fixed: projection key presence is not a
per-session capability signal, a superseded standing generation is never
reclaimed, and a `cordis_mount` temporary plugin belongs to the composition
rather than the session that mounted it.

`session.create` also adopts an already-live session, and the preceding
commit newly allows adopting one under the preset it switched to while
blank. Its response still echoed `header.agentPreset`, so that adoption
answered with the preset the session had just left — contradicting the
request it had accepted and the row `session.list` serves for the same
session from `resolveSessionPreset()`. The echo now resolves the same way.
The `assertPresetUnchanged` parameter doc said `existing` was the preset
the session was created under; both callers now pass what it runs.
`composeFrom()` was documented as "infallible" and "cannot fail" beside two
`@throws`. It has no composition failure mode — no roster read, no mount, no
file — but it does reject a caller error, and the wording now says which.
The package-level "switched preset" test re-linked to the same preset id,
so it could not tell reading the parent's live scope chain from reading its
creation header. A second fixture preset makes the switch real.
The Web browser lane's subagent goldens gain the preset badge a child now
shows, which is the visible consequence of recording its composition. That
lane runs only under DSH_EXAMPLE_MODE=lib and was missed before.
The Agent Note records two limits found in review: a cold-resumed
continuable child joins its parent's current composition rather than the one
its header names, and `toolFilter` does not constrain a joined child. The
latter is a regression from the agent-plane move rather than anything this
change introduces — with the same tools in the global layer the filter
applies normally — and is tracked in #2185.
