Clickable artifact links across the transcript (markdown anchors, prose
file mentions, web source/fetch links, produced-file chips, workflow
member links) now share one language: a dedicated --dsw-alias-link color
(light deepseek-500, dark deepseek-400) decoupled from
state-business-primary, font-weight 500, no underline at rest, and a
dotted 3px-offset underline on hover/focus. A new ui-primitives LinkIcon
leads each link with a currentColor category glyph (url / folder / code /
image / document / other) derived from the path extension by
classifyLinkPath. Produced-file chips drop the grey pill and 96px cap and
render at natural width, shrinking with ellipsis only on row overflow.
ToolRow's grey dotted file links and the grey show-in-folder action stay
as they were. The inline-code chip tint moves to neutral-50 (dark
neutral-800) with its 0.5px border kept.
Coverage: LinkIcon unit spec, refreshed markdown-dom fixtures, and the
clickable-links-gallery web e2e registered in the host compiler face.

The composer hairline moves one step up from the menus' l1; the seven
menu-fill dropdown cards grow from 16px to 20px corners. Notes and the
token comment record the new layering.
Re-declare the derived elevation tokens on body * so per-surface
--dsw-elevation-stroke-color rebinds reach the consuming shadow (custom
properties inherit with var() already substituted); pin that mechanism
and add synthetic rejection cases to the stylesheet scans; take the
ring-track basenames through node:path so the exemption matches on
Windows; update the ModelsSection row-card spec to the hairline recipe;
align the elevation note with the shipped l1 menu rebind, refresh the
feedback-popover note's surface recipe, and document the soft tier.
Apply global visual polish across the web client: corner-shape:
superellipse(1.5) with corner-shape: round pairing for full circles,
elevation tokens that draw 0.5px stroke outlines inside box-shadow for
floating surfaces, 0.5px hairline borders and divider lines for
neutral-token strokes, and tuned stroke contrast plus larger radii for
menus, settings panels, and cards. Stylesheet-scan specs in ui-theme
reject unpaired circles, border+shadow mixes, and 1px neutral hairlines
repo-wide.

Single RemoteError with a merge-extensible, domain-prefixed code map;
owners throw at the failure point; streams surface marked failures;
clients consume ctx.remote directly with isRemoteFailure as the only
discrimination point and construct no failure instances.
The Agent Note (both languages), the PR prose, and the commit message
claimed a 13px floor for the table variants; the formula has none —
max(13px, setting − 2px) selects the −1 branch at low settings rather
than clamping the result, so the tier bottoms out at 11px at the 12px
setting, matching think text. Rewrite the claim, say so in the axis
comment, and split the README sentence that lumped body-pair and
secondary-pair consumers together.
Assert the engine-resolved secondary size in the settings-chrome e2e
(13px at the default, 13px at the 15px boundary, 14px at 16px,
unchanged across reload), sync the StatsLine and workflow-panel spec
headers with the tier they now pin, and note why memberLabel stays at
the body size.
Derive --dsh-content-font-size-secondary (setting -1 at <=14, setting -2
above; 13px at the default) with --dsh-content-font-delta-secondary in
gradient-shadow-text.css, and move every one-step-under-the-body text
onto it: think text and reasoning summaries, the shared DisclosureRow
title, ToolRow and bash-row summaries and file links, compaction/
context/command/retry/error rows, StatsLine, the workflow-run panel
tiers, reference summaries, the turn-status clock, and the feedback
note trigger. The markdown table variants join the same tier instead of
staying fixed; its 13px floor keeps them legible at the 12px setting.
At the default setting the flow-row titles and summaries render at 13px
(previously 14px) so they match think text at every setting instead of
sitting 2px above it.
Drop the width handle's double-click reset and tooltip — the handle is now
drag-only and a stored preference is only replaced by another drag — and
add a tertiary description line under the Settings font-size title stating
the size only affects conversation content. Update both Agent Notes and
the settings dialog goldens.
Replace per-plugin tapIndex regex edits with pure-data IndexInjection rows
collected fresh per render over one webserver/index-inject event. One table,
two renderers: the served form renders rows into index.html; a static worker
form ships the same rows over its boot payload. tapIndex survives as the
raw-HTML escape hatch, applied after row rendering; client-modules and
ui-theme move to the event, and the manifest global renders as
globalThis["__DSH_BOOT__"].
The client boot chain gains the seams a pre-injected transport needs: the
module loader takes loadBundle from the transport global by default, HTTP
prefetch stands down when a transport owns bundle bytes, the web-app bundle
can decline frontend serving, the gateway client installs a namespace's
whole method group inside its fiber apply so a parked dependent never
observes the service without its methods, and the dynamic-code precheck
gates through new Function so hosts without a real node:vm keep the
define-time parse gate.
apps/web/tests/README.md records why these e2e type-check in the Host aggregate
and why importing a Client package there pulls its project tree into the Host
build graph, with mirroring as the standing answer. The Agent Note drops the
directory-picker face split (assessed and declined) and the grep-level gate in
favour of that README.
docs: regenerate the catalogs and retarget the moved declarations
The forwarded-event change moved three owner packages' cordis `Events`
declarations and their branded types into client-safe `./types` modules, and
the settings-scope split moves the shell spec into ui-settings-general. Point
the type-equivalence manifest and the affected Agent Note at those homes,
register the new `remote/*` event scope and the `ctx.settingsScope` service in
the catalog partition, and re-run the generators.
`$on` joins the documented `TypeRTClientRemote` surface, and the two Agent Note
fences that quote a bare member signature are marked `ignore-check`: they are
declaration fragments, not compilable units.
refactor(client): make ui-settings the settings domain's base layer
The settings-namespace transport lived in client/runtime, where every feature
could value-import it because runtime is a platform module. It belongs to the
settings domain, but moving it into ui-settings as a shared function fails
twice: the client bundle purity gate forbids cross-plugin value imports, and
ui-settings reached ui-sidebar for its shell, so any feature depending on it
closed a cycle through ui-layout and ui-theme.
Both halves move. `ctx.settingsScope` is now a cordis service — the
collaboration shape the purity gate prescribes, and the service proxy binds
`this.ctx` to the caller, so a bound scope's disposer belongs to the calling
fiber. The shell ui-settings used to own (the `sidebar.settings` occupant, its
navigation, and the nav-row projection) moves to ui-settings-general, which
already owns the chrome and the General section. What stays in ui-settings is
what carries no `ui-*` dependency: the scope service and the canonical settings
slot types, `settings.general.item` included. That type was parked in the locale
package precisely because the declarer was unreachable without a cycle; every
registrant now depends on this base layer, so it comes home.
The scope CONTRACT stays in client/runtime: a feature service accepts a scope
through its own signature without depending on the surface that binds it.
The forwarded settings invalidation replaces the deleted client-side
`settings/changed` event, so the transport reads `ctx.remote.$on`. It reaches
`$on` through the gateway's Client half plus the allowlist's type-only subpath
rather than api-remotes' Client face: that face imports a Host-tsdown-generated
artifact, and this package is reachable from the Host build graph through its
callers.
refactor(client): reach the settings transport through ctx.settingsScope
Every feature that owns a preference row switches from value-importing a shared
binder to the settings domain's service, and declares the two injections that
binding needs: `settingsScope` for the transport and `remote` for the forwarded
invalidation it subscribes to on the caller's own context.
The rows stay with the features that own the preferences — Language with locale,
Appearance with ui-theme, Composer Enter with ui-conversation. Only their route
to the transport changes, so no settings surface moves and no feature gains a
dependency on the shell.
The `settings.general.item` slot type now arrives from ui-settings, the base
layer every registrant already depends on, which retires the re-export outlet
ui-theme kept and the parked declaration in the locale package.
client/runtime drops its settings-form and schemastery dependencies with the
transport that used them.
test(client): bind the settings transport in the specs that boot a preference row
Every bench that activates a plugin owning a preference row now supplies the two
services that plugin injects: the forwarded-event port and the scope service.
Specs that exercise no settings path get the minimal doubles; the ones that do
drive their refresh chains through `remote/host-event`, the same signal
client/runtime republishes from a forwarded frame, replacing the deleted
client-side `settings/changed` event.
Also fixes a publication defect the built-invariant gate catches once it runs:
api-remotes' invariant companion shared the allowlist module with the package
index, so rolldown hoisted it into a third chunk beside the two bundled entries
— a file the mechanically derived publication list does not carry, leaving an
installed companion unable to import it. The companion now reads the allowlist
through this package's own published `./types` subpath, which the bundle keeps
external, so each entry stays self-contained.
The dynamic-subscription cast in apiproxy is gone: after the vendored cordis
rescope, `on` accepts the rest-parameter handler directly, and the allowlist's
shape assertion still carries the safety argument.
fix(client): carry the settings-scope move across the release manifests
Rebasing onto the publishable release set replaced every manifest's dependency
block, so the packages this change touches restate their additions in the
workspace-protocol form: the base layer's own transport dependencies, and the
`ui-settings` plus `remote` edges each preference-row owner now needs.
ui-settings-general takes clsx with the shell it received, and client/runtime
drops the settings-form and schemastery dependencies that left with the
transport.
fix(api-gateway): give each $on subscription its own registration and containment
Two defects in the forwarded-event subscription table, both raised in review:
A set keyed on listener identity stored one entry when two callers subscribed the
same function object to the same event, so the first frame reached it once instead
of twice and either disposer silenced the surviving registration. Subscriptions are
now records addressed by registration, which is what "the disposer belongs to the
calling fiber" requires.
A listener declared void may still be `async`, and the synchronous `try/catch`
could not see its rejection: the promise was dropped and surfaced as an unhandled
rejection outside the documented containment. Delivery now attaches a rejection
handler when a listener returns a promise, so both failure modes are logged and
isolated alike.
Delivery also iterates a snapshot, so a listener that subscribes or disposes during
a frame no longer changes who receives that frame, and production matches the
TestRemote double instead of relying on live Set iteration order.
Both fixes are pinned by tests that fail against the previous implementation. The
double gains its own spec for the `$mount` refusal and the unsubscribed-name drop —
per-file coverage reaches it — plus a note that it propagates a throwing listener
where production contains one, so no spec mistakes it for the containment guarantee.
Three prose corrections: `assertJsonArgs` states where its throw actually surfaces
(the emitter's listener containment, not load or emit time), the browser e2e README
names every standing Client import rather than claiming one exception, and two
comments and a test title state the forwarded event instead of the deleted
client-side one.
refactor(remote): deliver forwarded frames through ctx.remote.$dispatch
The carrier used to relay each decoded frame over an internal
`remote/host-event` cordis event so the delivery port could stay off the Remote
contract. The relay was the wrong shape twice over: it put a client-face event
into a scan whose subject is the Host vocabulary, forcing a walk exemption for
something that is not a Host event at all, and it made a direct handoff between
two Client plugins look like a broadcast any plugin participates in.
`TypeRTClientRemote` now carries both roles of one surface — consumers subscribe
with `$on`, and whoever owns the Host frame sink hands frames over with
`$dispatch` — so client/runtime calls the Remote service directly and the event
declaration is gone. A cordis service method is the collaboration shape the
client bundle purity gate prescribes, and it needs no relay to satisfy it.
The trade is that the handoff is now developer-visible: any plugin holding
`ctx.remote` can synthesize a forwarded event. That is the exposure the relay
already had — `ctx.emit` was equally reachable — stated in the contract instead
of hidden behind a private subscriber.
runtime reaches `ctx.remote` through the gateway's Client face rather than
api-remotes': that face imports a Host-tsdown-generated artifact, and this
project sits in the Host build graph.
refactor(api-remotes): keep the allowlist value out of types.ts
`src/types.ts` carries only types by package convention, but it held the
forwarded-event array, so the type-only subpath published runtime code. The
array moves to `src/remote-events.ts` and `types.ts` derives its projection from
it; both compiler faces list both files, so the Host forwarding loop and the
consumer key face still read one declaration and the package's exports are
unchanged.
The invariant companion returns to an empty installer. Its dispatch-shape check
was the only reason the companion imported the allowlist, which made the two
bundled entries share a module: rolldown hoisted it into a third chunk that the
mechanically derived publication list does not carry, so an installed companion
could not import it. Dropping the check retires that coupling along with the
subpath-import and bundle-external workarounds it needed, and the shape the
check enforced at runtime is the part the Host face's `TypeRTForwardableEvent`
assertion already refuses at compile time.
test(ui-task): bind the locale plugin's new injections in its bench
The bench boots the real locale plugin, which now injects the settings-scope
service and the forwarded-event port, so it stayed pending and left `ctx.locale`
undefined. Supplies both doubles like the other benches that boot a plugin
owning a preference row.
docs: close the documentation gates for the forwarded-event surface
Regenerates the two graph catalogs and re-records every bilingual pair this
branch edited. Several pairs needed real work beyond the record:
- The generators write only the English side, so the Chinese sides of
`event-producer-consumer` and `module-graph` had drifted: the former still
listed the three deleted client-face events and pointed at declaration sites
this branch moved into `types.ts` modules, and the latter carried a stale
dependency graph.
- `TypeRTClientRemote`'s documented declaration gains `$dispatch` on both sides.
- The pairing contract requires both sides to link the same target, so the
apiproxy README and the design note now link the English note from both
languages, and the note's code blocks are byte-identical across the pair
(a translated comment inside a fence counts as divergence).
- `apps/web/tests/README.md` gains its Chinese counterpart; the browser e2e lane
documents a discipline reviewers apply, so it belongs in the bilingual corpus
rather than in the pairing exemption list.
- Four fences in the design note are marked `ignore-check`: each quotes a member
signature, a union arm, or a snippet that names symbols it does not import, so
none is a compilable unit.
docs(agent-note): transition the forwarded-event note to implemented
The design shipped in this PR, so the pair moves into `implemented/` and takes
that folder's skeleton: `## Proposal` becomes a present-tense `## Decision`,
and `## Acceptance criteria` plus `## Risks` fold into `## Verification` (what
pins the behavior) and `## Consequences` (what the shipped shape costs).
Facts that moved after the proposal are corrected rather than preserved: the
allowlist value now lives in `remote-events.ts` beside a type-only `types.ts`,
the delivery port is `$dispatch` rather than an internal cordis event, and the
invariant companion is an explained empty installer. `Verification` states the
two `$on` defects the review found — independent registration identity and
async-rejection containment — since those are now the properties tests pin.
Supersession is partial, so five active notes stay active and gain a
cross-link each: `web-config-plane`, `web-client-session-scope`,
`config-plane-boundaries`, `versioned-gui-welcome-onboarding`, and
`permission-default-for-new-sessions` each described a frame this change
replaced. Only the mechanism sentence is annotated; every conclusion those
notes own is untouched, and `host/models-changed` remains apiproxy's own
derived frame in all of them.
Also pins the disposer's idempotence: calling one `$on` disposer twice must not
splice a surviving twin registration out from under its owner.

Machine-produced by `pnpm run rescope-vendor --apply` plus the regeneration it
prints: `pnpm install` for the lockfile, `pnpm run gen-third-party-notices`,
`verify-translation-pairing --write` for the touched bilingual pairs,
`gen-doc-graphs`, and one typert snapshot whose ids embed character offsets.
`pnpm run rescope-vendor --check` verifies the result.
Renames nine vendored packages (cordis, cosmokit, schemastery and the six
@cordisjs plugins) and every reference that resolves them: manifest names and
dependency keys, module specifiers including declare-module merges, cordis.yml
plugin names, tsconfig paths, every Markdown fence, and `docs/` prose.
Directory names, upstream versions, and dependency ranges are unchanged, so
vendor/README.md still reads as an upstream snapshot; its manifest table gains
an upstream-name column so THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES keeps MIT attribution pointed
at each fork's origin.
The tutorial tier follows the rename end to end: its yaml fences named plugins
the Loader can no longer resolve, its `ts ignore-check` fences disagreed with
the compiled fences beside them, and its prose quoted both. The contracts that
told readers to keep upstream names — the root convention and the vendoring
cookbook's tree comment and manifest invariant — now say to rescope instead.
Two rules read `@deepseek-ai/` as "another workspace plugin": the client bundle
purity gate now names the vendored libraries a browser bundle inlines, and the
files where a bare `cordis` is an agent-preset id keep that product data.
The /client entry of a UI plugin exports no values beyond what cordis
loading needs; the theme constants block returns to type-only re-exports,
the per-namespace schemas move into the shared *-settings modules instead
of widening the host entries, and same-package specs import those internals
directly per the export discipline in packages/client/AGENTS.md.
bindSettingsScope mirrors the Host-side settings owner seam in the browser:
one scope per namespace publishes a snapshot store (status, section value,
revision, writability, host/memory mode), validates sections against the
namespace's serialized wire schema via dsh-client-schema-form, and keeps the
controller's listener-before-read, revisioned serialized writes, latest-wins
publication, conflict recovery, and disposal quiescence. Theme, locale, and
busy-Enter services now take the scope as a constructor collaborator, which
removes the bindPersistence/syncPreference two-phase callback pair and the
defaulted no-op persist writers; hand-written wire guards fall away in favor
of the registered schema. test-runtime gains a stubSettingsScope double.
The hero Preview tag becomes a superscript mono pill riding the title's
top-right (r24, bordered, business-tertiary fill), colored by the new
--dsw-alias-label-primary-bluish alias over --dsw-static-blue-900 — the
first design-owner-approved addition under the token-sheet authority
exception recorded in the ui-theme README. The expanded sidebar trigger
now uses the native 16px settings icon instead of the 14px asset.
Every expandable tool row shares one interaction (whole-row toggle,
icon-to-chevron hover preview) and one expanded body: an IN/OUT
gutter-labeled card with per-section 150px scroll caps and sticky labels.
toolRowModel derives result output and the error first line, terminalFailed
surfaces a failing exit as the collapsed row's red dot, a hover Inspect
pill jumps to the call's trajectory record through a one-shot store
handoff, and the chat view keeps its scroll offset across view switches.
Each package ships its zh/en dictionaries as satisfies-typed pairs (zh is
the key-set source of truth; en is checked complete against it), merges its
namespace into LocaleNamespaceMap, and declares locale: NS at register —
components read the framework-injected typed t seat instead of a
hand-carried inject member. Overlapping verbatim words (retry, submit,
submitting) drop out of package dictionaries in favor of the shared common
vocabulary; the question composer stores validation feedback as dictionary
keys so shown feedback follows a locale switch.
Registrations declare a dictionary namespace (locale: NS) and the renderer
synthesizes a typed t prop for the entry's component from the installed
LocaleFace; the seat binding is re-derived per locale revision, so a language
switch hands out fresh t references and memoized consumers re-render through
ordinary shallow comparison. LocaleNamespaceMap is the declare-merge table
(namespace -> dictionary key union); TranslateNS<'ns'> is the
namespace-addressed translate type (namespace keys plus the shared common
vocabulary), carried by the t seat and by the locale service's typed bind.
LocaleService implements the face (lookup ns -> common -> zh -> key,
revision-carrying snapshots with subscriber isolation) and installs it
through the boot-once slots.installLocale seam, mirroring the renderer
install. The typed register(ns, {zh, en}) overload checks each dictionary
against the namespace's key union and requires every shipped locale, so a
missing or extra key and an unbalanced translation are compile errors.
Dictionary registration bumps the face revision without emitting
locale/change — the event now means exactly 'the active locale switched',
so registration-heavy boot cannot storm event listeners.
A non-`auto` `scrollbar-width` or `scrollbar-color` makes Chromium and Safari
discard every `::-webkit-scrollbar*` rule for that element, including
`::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:hover`. Declaring both unconditionally left the
hover tokens rendering nowhere: the engines implementing the hover
pseudo-element are exactly the ones the standard properties silence, and
Firefox has no hover pseudo-element to fall back on. Both hover tokens and all
four elevated surfaces' hover rebinds were therefore dead code.
Measured in chromium on probe elements with `scrollbar-gutter: stable`: an 8px
`::-webkit-scrollbar` alone reserved a 30px band, and adding
`scrollbar-width: thin` dropped it to the 10px `thin` reserves.
The standard properties now sit inside `@supports not
selector(::-webkit-scrollbar)`, so Firefox takes them and WebKit-based engines
take the pseudo-elements. The WebKit rules stay ungated: an engine without
those pseudo-elements drops them as unknown selectors, and gating them would
hide them from an engine that implements them without `selector()` — the
pre-16.4 Safari the ungated form serves correctly.
Three unit assertions pin the split by source offset, which the existing
at-rule-flattening parser cannot see. The web e2e now reads the path chromium
actually takes: the `auto` standard properties as the gate's signature, the
pseudo-element sizing and track, the indirection variables resolved per
throwaway probe, and the hover declaration as cascade rule text — chromium
folds the `:hover` rule into `getComputedStyle(el,
'::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb')`, so no computed query separates the states.
design-platform.css declared four --dsw-alias-scrollbar-* tokens in both
palettes that no rule read, so every scrolling region rendered the user
agent's own scrollbar and the dark theme showed a light native bar against
dark surfaces.
The symptom that surfaced the gap was in the sidebar: the workspace
browser's session list is its only scrolling region, and each row's
trailing content (the relative timestamp, and the hover action buttons
that replace it) is `flex: none` flush against the row's 8px right
padding, so an overlaid scrollbar painted on top of the timestamp.
ui-theme/styles/scrollbar.css becomes the sole consumer of the four
tokens, imported by the web shell's base.css after design-platform.css
because it reads that sheet's tokens. The rules sit on `body`, not
`html`: the alias tokens are declared on `body`, custom properties
inherit only downward, and from `html` they resolve to the
guaranteed-invalid value with scrollbar-color computing to `auto`.
scrollbar-width and scrollbar-color are declared on `body, body *` rather
than inherited, because inheritance would carry the color already
substituted at `body` and an elevated surface could not retint its own
thumb; scrollbar-width does not inherit at all.
Both the standard properties and the ::-webkit-scrollbar pseudo-elements
read one indirection pair bound to the l1 tokens, so an elevated surface
rebinds that pair to the l2 tokens once and retints both renderings. The
command popup, slash menu, model-select panel, and settings panel do so,
which gives the l2 tokens their first consumers.
WorkspaceBrowser's `.list` declares scrollbar-gutter: stable, keeping the
bar beside the rows. `stable` rather than `auto` so the reservation holds
when the list is short enough not to scroll: expanding a workspace group
would otherwise shift every row sideways at the moment it starts
scrolling.
Menus: keep 12px viewport clearance with internal scroll, pin workspace
create actions in a footer, and pre-render portal lists hidden so the
first painted frame is already at its final position (no open jump).
Tool rows: 14px icons, secondary titles, no hover fill, and a hover
chevron preview on in-place expandable rows. Settings: 800x600 layer-2
panel over a blurred mask, hover states, and wrapping selector cubes;
ModelSelect surface tokens now match the Menu primitive.
The shell is now a pure composition face: no dictionaries, no locale
dependency, and three new chrome content seats (settings.trigger /
settings.header / settings.close) whose slot content also carries the
accessible names (trigger text, dialog aria-labelledby, visually hidden
close label). ui-settings-general returns as the owner of copy that
belongs to no single feature: chrome content, the General section with
its item slot, and the settings dictionaries. Slot types split homes —
trigger/header/close/section live in the shell contract; the
settings.general.item entry moves to the locale package (the common
dependency of every item registrant), with ui-theme consuming it
through a re-export seam; the verbatim duplicate merges are gone and
the dependency graph is a clean DAG.
One highlighter for the client: a synchronous fine-grained shiki core
(JS regex engine, no WASM) in ui-primitives with an explicit grammar
allowlist (typescript, shellscript, json — aliases resolve, unknown
languages take a geometry-identical plain arm). The shared CodeBlock
component owns both arms; markdown fences, the run_code expanded
program body (typescript), and the details panel Input (json) all
route through it. Token colors live in a new ui-theme shiki.css sheet
as --shiki-* custom properties (light/dark blocks), wired through the
shell's base.css chain — tokens-only styling holds; shiki's generated
span tree is the sanctioned innerHTML path (static output, no user
HTML). jsdom specs pin token spans, aliases, both fallbacks, and the
fence route; the built-bundle snapshot asserts the highlighted program
under the code row.
The five settings-surface registrants carried near-identical
spec-check/ledger-judge/subscribe scaffolding (three jscpd clones);
ui-slots now owns deferRegistration() — ledger-judged presence, refresh
for registrant-localized labels, one-call disposal — and every
registrant shrinks to its registration body.
Settings collaboration direction (recorded in the note): the shell only
provides composition faces — feature plugins register themselves. The
General section moves into the ui-settings shell (order 0, skeleton
rows) and declares the settings.general.item list slot; locale registers
the Language row and ui-theme the Appearance row (each with its own
store mirror, dictionaries, and ledger-judged deferral); the
ui-settings-general package is gone. ui-settings-models becomes
ui-models — a feature package that contributes its Settings section
rather than a settings-owned satellite. The item-slot SlotMap entry is
authored in the ui-settings contract and repeated verbatim in
locale/ui-theme (reference-cycle avoidance; declaration merging keeps
the copies identical).
Replace optional chains on always-present globals with the repo's
typeof guards (store.ts precedent), drop the non-null assertion by
failing loud on an impossible registry miss, and fix two arrow-parens
slips; cover the no-localStorage boot path in both service suites.
Regenerate the module-graph/config-catalog/event-graph docs for the
locale rename and new packages; allowlist the three settings READMEs;
complete the RFC code block and add its English pair. Cover the
ThemeService media-query paths (stubbed matchMedia) and mark the
unreachable registry fallback. General section re-registration now
judges presence on the slot ledger instead of a local disposer, which
went stale when an HMR collapse removed the entry.
Add the browser Settings surface as slot-composed plugins over new
preference services:
- Rename dsh-client-i18n to dsh-client-locale (locale is the domain
name); LocaleService adds getLocale()/setLocale(id), immutable
snapshots, a locale/change event, and dsh.locale persistence.
- ThemeService owns the light/dark/system preference (default system),
resolves system via prefers-color-scheme, publishes theme/change
snapshots, persists dsh.theme, and no longer touches the DOM;
ui-layout's ThemePresenter applies resolved snapshots
(body[data-ds-dark-theme] + alias tokens) and cleans up on dispose.
- ui-sidebar drops the phase-1 settings dropdown/modal; the foot renders
the new sidebar.settings slot with the column state.
- New ui-settings shell occupies sidebar.settings: foot trigger row and
the centered 1080x700 panel (figma 501:29947) with 24% mask, close
button / mask click / Escape all closing, and a 188px nav projected
from the settings.section list slot it declares. Nav labels are
registrant-localized; sections re-register on locale change, so the
ledger version is the shell's only subscription.
- ui-settings-general registers the General section: Permission and
Tool Call skeletons, live Language (locale menu) and Appearance
(Light/Dark/System cubes following the persisted preference); its
slot store mirrors both service snapshots via apply-side listeners.
- ui-settings-models registers the Models nav entry with an empty
content column.
- Portaled menus pin z-index above modal overlays (a menu anchored
inside the settings dialog rendered underneath it and was
unclickable).
- theme/data/list-pen icons in ui-primitives; settings copy ships as
zh/en dictionaries; fixture manifests gain the settings rows.
