KaifAhmad1 c190ecb81e docs: fix review follow-ups — naming consistency, extras snippet, nav card order
- installation.md: revert card title back to "Getting Started" to match
  the Tip text that already links to it by that name
- getting-started.md: restore pip install semantica[all] code block that
  was removed in the original PR; users need the copy-paste snippet even
  when the Installation guide is the canonical reference; also standardize
  link text to "Installation" (was "Installation guide")
- index.md: add Installation card as first entry in "Start Here" CardGroup
  so the prose ("install first, then open Quickstart") is backed by an
  actual card to click
- quickstart.md: standardize link text to "Installation" (was "Installation guide")

Installation Get Semantica installed in under a minute. download
**Available on PyPI** — `pip install semantica` and you're ready. Python 3.8 or higher required. Python 3.11+ recommended. Once you're set up, read [Getting Started](getting-started) for the overview and [Quickstart](quickstart) for the end-to-end pipeline.

Basic Installation

pip install semantica

With all optional dependencies:

pip install semantica[all]

Verify

python -c "import semantica; print(semantica.__version__)"

```bash python -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # Linux / Mac venv\Scripts\activate # Windows pip install semantica ``` ```bash conda create -n semantica python=3.11 conda activate semantica pip install semantica ```
Optional Dependencies
Install only what you need:
```bash pip install semantica[gpu] ``` Includes PyTorch with CUDA, FAISS GPU, CuPy. ```bash pip install semantica[viz] ``` Includes PyVis, Graphviz, UMAP. ```bash pip install semantica[llm-all] # all providers
pip install semantica[llm-openai]       # OpenAI

Install from Source

For the latest development version or to contribute:

git clone https://github.com/semantica-agi/semantica.git
cd semantica

pip install -e .          # core only
pip install -e ".[all]" # all extras
pip install -e ".[dev]" # dev tools (pytest, black, etc.)

If you encounter issues with the PyPI release, install directly from the main branch:

pip install git+https://github.com/semantica-agi/semantica.git@main

Troubleshooting

ModuleNotFoundError

Check you have the right environment active:

pip list | grep semantica
pip install --upgrade semantica

Installation fails with dependency errors

pip install --upgrade pip
pip install build wheel
pip install semantica --no-deps # install without optional deps first

GPU dependencies fail

Install CPU-only first, then add GPU support:

pip install semantica
pip install semantica[gpu]

Permission denied

pip install --user semantica # or use a virtual environment

Windows [all] install fails

This was fixed in v0.5.0. Upgrade to the latest release:

pip install --upgrade semantica

Windows PyTorch DLL errors

Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. This is a Windows system dependency, not a Semantica bug.
